A Russian gilded silver teaglass holder by Carl Faberge. Moscow, 1908-1917. The cylindrical body is decorated and beautifully hand engraved with a round raised enamel center cartouche depicting a crown cipher of Tsar Alexander. Marked with the 88 silver standard and K. Faberge ( Ê.ÔÀÁÅÐÆÅ ) in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant. Special made and very heavy. Size: 2 3/4" base, 3" tall. For further details please view the pictures !

An especially fine bombe cased tea caddy in burl walnut or rosewood veneer. The top opens up showing two tea canisters and a central holder for a mixing bowl, although with no bowl. The inside is lined with dark blue velvet, the inside of the lid with tufted blue velvet. The lock has survived and has the working key and there are cast brass paw feet and side carrying rings. With an old finish but not refinished. 7 1/4" X 12 1/4" X 6 1/4". RL*
