This rare antique ship model is a Baltimore Clipper, A Privateer War 1812 ,is an example of the building style known as Admiralty Style, plank-on-frame construction with exposed ribs, to demonstrate construction of the original ship. Nautical antiques,Churchill ships crest. This ships crest came off the "Churchill" and English vessel dating from 1935. This ships crest is very heavy cast iron. This ships crest measures 7 and 3/4 inches wide by 10 inches long. The solid mahogany frame measures 11 and 1/2 inches by 12 and 1/2 inches. This is one of the nicest crests we have handled. The little brother, as it were, of Trocadero #22626 is this handsome centigrade thermometer. It is in excellent working condition and would be a happy addition to a fine desk. French, late Nineteenth Century, approximately four inches tall and 1-3/4 inches in diameter at the base.
