This wonderful, C1890, tiny amber corked glass bottle contains THE WOODBRIDGE TREATMENT OF TYPHOID FEVER tablets. These pills, invented by Dr. Woodbridge, were also known as DR. WOODBRIDGE'S ABORTIVE TREATMENT PILLS. They were used in an attempt to save a patient's life once the symptoms of the disease were evident. This very unusual celluloid ruler/letter opener is from THE HYNSON, WESTCOTT & DUNNING PHARMACEUTICAL LABORATORY of BALTIMORE, MARYLAND.
