This early, amber drug store shelf bottle has an enamel painted shield with TANNIN on the label. TANNIN was used to treat several medical conditions, including diarrhea and hemorrhoids. This wonderful bottle has a GROUND GLASS STOPPER. It is 4.5" tall. We note no chips or cracks. This bottle has been in storage for about 30 years. It came out of a long-closed pharmacy museum.

From a long-closed drug store museum comes this very ornate MEDICINAL GINGER FLASK for pocket or purse. Ginger was a very popular stomach tonic in its day. This wonderful flask has been in storage since the museum closed about 30 years ago. It is 4.75" tall. The museum tags have been left in place. They may be easily removed. We note no chips or cracks. A pristine example.

From an old drug store museum that closed about 30 years ago comes this neat old patent medicine. It is embossed on all four panels as follows: BY THE KING'S ROYAL PATENT GRANTED TO//ROBT. TURLINGTON FOR HIS INVENTED BALSAM OF LIFE//JAN.28, 1779//LONDON. This patent medicine was imported for the American market, and was quite popular in its day. It is 2.75" tall and still retains the ID tag on the bottom from its days in the drug store museum. We note no chips or cracks.

This is another one of the fine bottles we are offering from a drug store museum that closed about 30 years ago. This bottle has been in storage since the museum closed.
