This neat old tonic is unopened and is 8" tall. THE NEW YORK PHARMACAL ASSOCIATION was located in YONKERS, NEW YORK. Elixir of Lactopeptine with Calisaya was a stomach and post-malarial tonic. Of special note is the early tamper resistant covering over the cork with the company name. This remedy was discovered in the basement of a long-closed drug store that opened for business in 1878.

This fine blown glass inhaler is from LLOYD BROTHERS of CINCINNATI, OHIO. The device was introduced by DR. H.L. TRUE of MCCONNELSVILLE, OHIO. It is 3.25" long and was discovered in a long-closed Ohio drug store. Patented in 1900, it had been in storage in a drug store basement since 1902! Zaluma Agra was P.T. Barnum's first exhibition act. She was a Circassian lady. In the 1860's, while travelling with P.T. Barnum, she was marketed as having been freed from a harem in the Middle East by Barnum's agents. In reality, she was from the United States. She drew quite a crowd in her day. This CDV is in fine condition and is 4"x2.5".
