Antique elegant cane with a hidden whiskey flask, 19th century. Details: a hollow wooden cane containing its original long glass liquor flask, the handle is finished with copper knob and a collar which unscrews to allow access to the glass flask. Very nice hand carved walking stick with a Whippet dog head for the handle. I believe this has a oak shank measuring 38" and the dog's head measures 4". When the cane is being held the index finger fits perfectly between the dogs ear. It has a 2" brass collar with 2 brass rings around it. Nicely hand carved with a nice warm patina to the wood and the brass collar. Very nice old cane.

This awesome Victorian walking stick has an extremely well carved ivory horse head handle above a sterling silver collar adorned with a horse head, a horse shoe and a riding crop. The horse has fabulous carved teeth, flowing mane and forelock, and glass eyes. The ivory handle is 4-1/2 by 1-1/4 inches and tops a 3/4-inch ebony shaft and 1-3/4-inch bimetal tip.
