A BEAUTIFULLY BALANCED AND VISUALLY STRIKING LARGE MIMBRES CLASSIC BOWL! This beauty measures a full eleven inches in diameter and a full six inches high and includes two ancient repair holes more common to the Maya. It dates from A.D. 900-1250 and is fairly amazing in its complexity. It is divided into four quadrants of beautifully balanced design. The first design element that “hits” the eye is a four pointed star made up of a broad white band. On further examination you will spot four rectan... Click for details

Anasazi Tularosa Olla with Bird Handle, circa 1150-1275, 6" high X 6 3/4" across. This exquisitely designed pitcher has been broken and glued with 10-12% restoration mostly to its neck and bottom. The entire Bird Lug is original as is the surrounding neck area. There is a beautiful star pattern on top of the vessel. I love fantastic brush work and this piece has spectacular artistry. Note the wonderful scrolls in the neck. A classic Anasazi design on an outstanding vessel.

A small and well worked Hohokam Axe from Arizona.
This is a 3/4 groove hard stone axe that is well worked and also appears to have been used as a hammer type device, with wear at the blunt end. This small axe is well used and was probably an everyday use item. The individual that used this little axe did alot of work. This is a very well shaped axe and was certainly a cherished item in the ancient Southwest.... Click for details
