A rare Bahia whistle figure from Ecuador, ca. 500 BC 300 AD. He is 7-1/4 tall, posed standing and is adorned with a large segmented necklace and complex ear ornaments. In excellent condition, with masterful appliquι workmanship, traces of fugitive paint and great tone on the two whistles hidden in his back.

A superb Chimu Viringo effigy from Peru, ca. 1100 - 1450 AD. This adorable canine is 7-1/2" high and is posed seated on his haunches, with the tail curled along the backside. The wrinkled face is adorable and expressive, with teeth visible in the open mouth. He is wearing a collar, indicative of a pet, which is very unusual for these animals found wild in the coastal deserts. In excellent condition.

A magnificent Maya figural flute from Guatemala, ca. 500 800 AD. It is 12 high and is sculpted in the form of a decapitated dancer, with the head attached to the chest. The face is masterfully detailed, with the mouth open in an eternal scream. A large lizard pendant now forms part of the headdress. Great tone! A couple restored breaks.

A rare Inca figural vessel from Peru, ca. 1400 1500 AD. This highly burnished piece is 8 high and depicts the seated trader holding several objects in both hands. His mantle is knotted under the chin and is rolled up and bulging at the rear, indicating that he is carrying other merchandise.
