This is a lovely shabti. Wears a tripartite wig, with excellent facial details, inscribed with a horizontal band and vertical column in engraved hieroglyphic, inscribed for Ptah-hotep.

Sizeable terracotta head of the childbearing Baubo. The head with large eyes, a fleshy nose and purse lips. The rich hairdo reworked with the modeling stick and topped by a heavy floral wreath. Nice Egyptian terracotta head of a boy with chubby features. The face with smiling and slightly purse lips, a fleshy nose and heavy eyelids. Tiny holes on the cheeks and Venus fold on the neck. Terracotta. Egyptian, 1st Century AD. H. 4.5 cm (1.7 in), H. with stand 10.8 cm (4.25 in). Excellent modeling. Broken below the neck, back side of the head missing. Art market.

Superb depiction of the child Horus with two fingers to his lips. The face with neatly designed eyelids, aquiline nose and purse lips. The exaggeratedly high forehead and the tiny perforations on the cheeks confer the head a devilish air; also the bovine ear on the right. Terracotta. Egyptian, 2nd/1st Century BC. H. 4.1 cm (1.6 in), H. with stand 10.5 cm (4.1 in). Superb modeling with indicated fingernails and irises. High quality red wash around the face slightly worn. Art market.
