Terracotta female figurine clad in a chiton, the himation drawn over her head. Standing on her left leg, she is clutching some drapery with her bent arm.
Mannered late Hellenistic style with very small head and tall body. Rendered with delicate features and an elongated back of the head.
Inspired by Greek Tanagra figurines. This item is most likely to come from Egypt.

Smooth orange clay with black gloss and red wash decoration. Near-ovoid body, high concave neck with splayed rim and trefoil mouth, high swung rounded handle. Tongues decorating shoulder, motif of X's encircling belly above ground line of S-hooks. For similarly shaped, decorated wares cf. Hayes 1984 192-193.
In excellent condition, with some minor abrasions and loss of gloss, measures 15.5cm (H).

Uncommon hand-modeled Villanovan kyathos with broad rounded body and a strap handle with two stylized horns.
The kyathos belongs to the Ansone Culture which was located in Campania and formed part of the Villanova culture.

Apulian guttus of globular body with slightly marked shoulder leading to an upright spout with flared rim. A loop handle attached on the side.
On the bottom a cross in applied red wash.
Gutti were supposedly used as oil containers for filling lamps.
Ceramic.
Greek, Apulian, 4th century BC.
H. 9.6 cm (3.77 in), D. 8.2 cm (3.2 in).
Intact and of excellent condition. Black glaze on the spout and on the upper side of the handle peeled off. Delicate groove on the shoulder. Etched root marks.

Globular vessel with a lotus cross on the belly, incised dot rosettes as infill between the lotus flowers. An encircled cross below the handle. The bottom with radiating strokes around part of the depression. The mouth tongued with tiny dots on the outside rim.
Added red for the hearts and the petals of the lotus.
