A superb Hellenistic terracotta figural group with Eros leaning against a tall herme. Two small figures on the lower right side. The upper small figure seems to be lifting the lifeless body of the lower one. East Greek, 3rd - 1st Century BC. Height: 12.9 cm. Some remains of polychromy (light blue and cream white) on the small figures below. Vent hole in the reverse. Excellent intact condition. No restorations. Ancient Greek terracotta female head, South Italy, 4th Century BC. She is wearing a polos headdress on long wavy hair parted in the center, with one large side curl. A few faint remains of ochre paint in the hair. Height: 9.4 cm. Good condition, only minor damage to the right side of the nose. No repairs! Some encrustation on the surface. Height: 9.4 cm. Purchased on the Dutch art market.

Greek marble head of Herakles with a short bulged out forehead and almond-shaped eyes recessed to bear inlays. The full lips framed by a moustache. Small ears stick out the close-cropped hairdo. The beard with voluminous curls.
Greek, Eastern Mediterranean, 2nd/1st century BC.
H. 8.1 cm (3.2 in), H. with stand 14.9 cm (5.85 in).
Broken below the heavy neck. Nose chipped. White marble with reddish patina and black deposits. Surface worn in places.
Swiss art market.
