A lovely Kushan fertility figure from Charsadda, in the Indus Valley, Baluchistan, ca. 100 BC - 100 AD. This fine figure is 5-1/2" high, and is depicted wearing a complex turban or headdress. Nice example of the type, with mineral deposits, small repair. Mounted on stand.

An Islamic-style terracotta oil lamp discovered on the Arabian Peninsula and dated ca. 900 - 1000 AD. The clay is an orange color and the lamp was mold made. It measures 9.35 cm and has a chipped tongue handle. The flat bottom has a base composed of five circles. A sharp ridge runs around the filler and wick-holes forming a channel on the nozzle.
