This fantastic ancient weapon is a bronze dagger or spear from Luristan - ancient Northern Iran circa 1200 BC. This piece is heavy and stable. It has a leaf shaped blade with a strong midrib. The tang tapers to a small 90 degree bend.It has a wonderful patina including malachite and azurite encrustations. This would be a marvelous addition to any collection.It measures just over 26 cm in length and weighs208 grams.

A large and extensively decorated cast bronze bracelet or leg ornament covered in anthropomorphic designs.
The bracelet consists of two sections which were pinned together at the sides (the mechanism is still visible on the inside); the lower section is cast with bands and lines of raised dots while the upper side is profusely ornamented.

An unusually large cast bronze amuletic pendant in the form of a goat or moufflon standing on a tubular base.
The elegant proportioning of this figure is reminiscent of Greek geometric period metalwork.
North West Iran, Luristan Culture, c. 1200-800 BC
Size: 8.2 x 5.6 cms.
One horn partially lost in antiquity otherwise intact.
Formerly in the stock of a West End London dealership.
