A beautiful Luristan spearhead, ca. 1000 B.C. with beautiful bright green patina. Approxiamtely 18" high with a heavy central spine which extends the length of the piece except for the tang, which is approximately 4". Intact with only minor chipping to the blade edge. Professionally mounted.

Embossed disk with a central protrusion surrounded by a chain of buds. Small chiseled flowers in the field. Luristan, 8th-7th Century BC. H. 23 cm (9 in), W. disk 9.7 cm (3.8 in). Very good condition with nice patina. Two small corroded holes on the disk, otherwise intact. Point of the pin bent for suspension. Ex Swiss art market.

This is a fantastically well-preserved set of ancient Luristan bronze warrior's gauntlets. These cuffs are decorated with repousse shapes including rhombi and symmetrical dots. Pierced running the edges for sewing onto a tunic or other armour.
