A really unique and wonderful pair of Cast peking glass Temple lions. I am not positive of age but if these are not antique they are very close. From export sticker on bottoms I would estimate these to have been made before 1920. They have no damage and are solid. The mold must have been very complex as you can see the details are quite exact from the teeth to the "Fur" on their backs. I have not seen others like this. They are about 2 1/2" tall with out the wood base, the wood bases were made f... Click for details

Up for sale is this outstanding Peking glass, cameo carved vase. I purchased this piece almost fourty years ago in Colorado, it was reported to come from the Claude Wampler collection of oriental art, most of which is in a Chicago Museum. This piece dates back to the Ching dynasty. It is 9 3/4" tall and has all of the outstanding qualities of carving and design of the finest of antique Peking glass. I have seen others of this quality years ago in fine shops in San Francisco, the upper rims were ... Click for details

Antique Chinese glass beads from Yunnan. Most likely Qing Dynasty but possibly Ming as large glass beads in this shape were documented from that period but the examples I have seen have been opaque. Average bead length is 1.5cm/.6in. They are very heavy and have a nice feel to them. Some original pitting and few cracks here and there but overall much finer than the similar beads in the previous listing. Very rare aubergine color most likely emulating amethyst.

This late 19th century Chinese overlay Peking glass vase is 10 ¾ inches high and 5 ½ inches on the widest part. It depicts a well known Chinese story “The goddess of Luo River.” A groom drives a dragon cart over the river while the goddess Luo sits in the cart. Two maids are following them. The workmanship is precise and elegant. It is in excellent condition.
