Chinese opaque burgundy toned glass plate with barbed rim, circa 1900. Measuring 17.5inches or 44.5cm diameter, this plate is of unusually large size for its type. The glass has light areas of streaking, visible on the back, possibly intended to imitate striations in stone. China is scratched into the base. The rim is unpolished and there are a few rough areas left when the edges were ground, including one 1mm flake.

This is a late Qing example of Peking Glass – circa 1880-1910. It is a footed bowl with a flared bowl done in a lovely transparent emerald green color. There are some bubbles in the glass and the makeup of the foot lead us to believe it to be from the late 19th to early 20th century. The bowl measures 5 3/8” diameter at the top – is 2 3/8” high – and is 1 ½” diameter at the base. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

Exceptionally rare turquoise colored glass arc shaped part of a large five segmented (original outer diameter would have approximately 13.5 cm) bracelet or a jewelry ensemble. A couple of very tiny chips otherwise in outstanding condition. There is a strong russet tone to the glass indicating this had been buried in either an iron rich soil or along with iron items. This piece dates to the Warring States to Han period. L: 8cm/3.1in and W: 2.5cm/1in.
