Eastern Zhou Marble Lacquer Painted Bi. The painting design is called Yun Wen. This means Cloud Pattern. This lovely piece is stained with residual traces of bronze which has a malachite patination. 13.0 cm diameter. Areas of shallow erosion are present on the reverse.

Very old (circa 3000 to 4000 years old) Chinese Nephrite perforated disc, called a “Bi” by the Chinese.
