Very old (circa 3000 to 4000 years old) Chinese Nephrite perforated disc, called a “Bi” by the Chinese. Most likely the edge of the circumference has been re-polished at an unknown later date, as the original outer edge surface was not polished- this may be deduced by observing how the hole is perfectly round yet rough with soil traces while the outer diameter is polished at subtle angles but with no accretions.
