A celadon colored nephrite jade archers ring dating from the late Qing Dynasty, circa 1840-1900. One end is flat and has tiny frits and the other has the usual smooth rounded form typical of these rings. The ring measures 1 1/8" outside diameter and is 7/8" diameter inside diameter (that translates to 12 3/4 USA ring size) – it is is 1" long and has a slight flare to it with a slightly pinched waist. A fine medium green nephrite jade carved in the shape of a bat with outspread wings - on the top is carved an old Chinese coin with a square hole in it - that is flanked by two peaches - at the bottom are two floral sprays, probably prunus( plum blossom).
