A creamy white jade "bi" pendant with natural mottled brown and amber coloration. The shape is not a flat disc (bi) but of a rounded disc shape and comes with a blue glass melon bead (of the period). The jade has very attractive, complex patterns and a beautiful patina that has developed through the centuries.
Period: Song (12th/13th Century)
Size: Diameter = 5.4 cm (2-1/8 inches)
Condition: No chips. Natural wear.
