Depicting a line of 7th level mandarins and their wives, this large, highly detailed ancestor portrait dates to the end of the Qing dynasty, probably between the 1890s and 1911. Some losses, aging normal for something of this period. One noted repair, to the top right corner. Measurements, framed are: 68.5x39.75 inches. When looking at the detail pictures, note the attention paid to the landscape painting depicted behind the lower right trio.
