A fine Guan Type washer from the early 15th Century, Yuan Dynasty with even and luscious celadon glaze. Dimension: 3.5 inch wide and 1 inch tall. Condition: excellent with a small fireflaw at the underside.

With a pale ‘egg yolk’ colored glaze, depicting a farmer, ox, willow, fantastic mountains, buildings, hillside, humble dwellings and pavilions amidst fantastic peaked mountains and an inscription to the upper left. This item was probably once an insert to a wooden tablescreen, hanging panel or box. Description:A unique water basin in lovely shape was from Jun kiln of Yuan dynasty. In almost round shape, the water basin was in beautiful blue glaze and was supported by a well shaped foot ring. Evenly applied glaze was all over the inner and outer surfaces and stop short of the foot ring. The unglazed foot ring was adherent with the firm earth coating which was an obvious evidence for a burial piece. A scholar item from famous Jun kiln is a rare chance for you to hold on.
