Finely carved Chinese clear rock crystal snuff bottle with classic shape, flanked on two sides with slightly grooved panels for comfortable holding. Very elegant, yet simply design with highly scholar's taste. Low, recessed footing, and there are two mirrored round panel on both faces. Circa 18th c. Size: 2 1/2 inches, with just a very very minor tiny chipping on the foot rim. Shipping is $6.00

This is a finely carved Chinese hardstone snuff bottle, I am not quite sure of the material. But It seems it is more of a quartz conglomerate type than a jasper. Its pattern is very interesting with various swirled semi-circles against a greyish olive ground. With very nice small oval footing. Circa 1850's; Size:2 3/4 inches tall. Shipping is $6.00

Fine antique Guangxu Chinese snuff bottle made of porcelain molded as an ear of corn. Late Qing. Matched later composite top with bone spoon, well shaped. You can tell easily the age of this one since the details of each seed is molded & shaped into the porcelain. The later ones have painted outlines. Also the footrim is different... the older ones have sharp well defined rims like this one. See similar p.133, #98, of "Snuff Bottles in the Collection of the National Palace Museum".
