This is a pair of modest sized bamboo cups. They are in excellent condition. Late 19th Century. Each cup is about 5 cm diameter and 5 cm high. This is not a perfect pair, but almost so. The flower is magnolia. These design on each cup is basically the same, although there are minor differences between the two. Very nice patina.

Here are two large lotus leaf toggles each with frogs and lotus leafs as key parts of the work. In the first 4 frames we see a fat frog nibbling on the vine of the lotus which has come through the leaf from the bottom where the vine itself begins and comes through the leaf.
