A fine pair of Chinese carved root wood figures. The first figure depicted is Shoulao, the god of longevity who stands next to a crane. The second figure is of a standing happy buddha holding a small club in one hand and and a large staff in the other. The figures are in very good condition with fine color and patina. The buddha has some very minor stress fracturing in the wood. Dimensions: Height 11", Width 7".

This is a pair of modest sized bamboo cups. They are in excellent condition. Late 19th Century. Each cup is about 5 cm diameter and 5 cm high. This is not a perfect pair, but almost so. The flower is magnolia. These design on each cup is basically the same, although there are minor differences between the two. Very nice patina.
