19th Century Nepalese Shaman Sculpture with traces of yellow and red pigment and an incredible, dense, dark patina. So thick and dark is the amazing patina that the necklace that covers the chest and back, and the carvings on the skirt, are barely visible. The hole on the bottom indicates that this was likely the handle of a dagger or staff. The old customs seal is also on the bottom. 8 inches, 20 cm. Very Good Condition.

19th Century Indian Lotus Blossom Water Spout, also known by the Sanskrit word for Womb, Yoni. Acquired from Michael Huguenon, Paris in 1990. Copper. It is a Hindu ritual object used for pouring libations of water, most often used to scoop and pour water during ritual bathing/praying. Length: 14 inches (36cm), Width: 6 inches (15cm), Height: 5 inches (12.5cm). Excellent Condition.

This striking 19th Century Mask with a wrinkled face is from the Northern Indian Monpa People of Tibetan descent in Arunachal Pradesh. Face mask of almost flat shape, with rectangular protruding forehead, long triangular nose, pierced-through rectangular eyes and mouth. Wood, with fine dark-brown patina. Small perfume phial decorated all over its body with stylized lotus in relief. Bronze, with nice, slightly encrusted, green patina. Nepal, or Tibet, 16th century, maybe earlier. Height: 3 1/2" (8 cm). Obvious signs of great age, very good condition. Note: the piece is quite heavy.
