Circa 19th century thangka in cotton of Kubera, most likely from Tibet. The central deity depicted is the dark green wealth-granting deity, Kubera, wearing a hat with four flaglets, and holding a flaming sword with his right hand and a mongoose with his left. He has blue eyes, red curly beard, and wears a suit streaked with gold. He rides on a green horse in front of a shrine with a gold-lined facade. Circa 19th century, probably earlier, mandala of multi-armed Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion, painted on cotton in either Nepal or Tibet. Avalokiteshvara is in the center of the mandala, with many arms holding different implements, and eleven heads, the topmost of which is Amitabha. His main hands are folded on his chest.
