This Taisho Period c.1920 art deco flower vase comes in the original signed box. Signed HOUN, and the characters, "Sei Do Ka Bin" meaning blue bronze flower vase. The bronze is dipped in hot oil after firing to create the fabulous effect. The inside is lined to keep water from damaging the bronze when flowers are displayed. c.1920 (11" x 9") (28cm x 24cm).
