Very fine well decorated 4 3/4+" small Japanese Kutani cabinet vase with much detail. One panel with very artistically painted herons or cranes, the other with 6 men reading a scroll under a tree. The back
ground with much detailed brocade design and 2 panels with stylized phoenix. Neck and foot with different designs. Much gilding with typical Kutani orange red color. Good quality early Imari small scalloped bowl in the hard to find 5 colors, green, red, lavender, gold, blue. Very interesting designs on interior and exterior; also, signed on the reverse. Nice shape. Measures 5 7/8" in diameter and 2" high. No chips, cracks, damages, or repairs. There is some minor no harm surface wear in the center due to age. Japanese Kutani table screen standing on four curved feet, worked in one piece. Delicately painted in polychrome colors with gold. One panel depicting five sages in a mountain landscape, the other side showing plants and flowers, surrounded by diverse patterns. One foot with "fuku" mark in gold. Condition: fine, minor gilt and enamel rubbing. Dimensions: 16,8 cm high x 23,8 cm wide. Weight: 1200 gram.

The size of Bowl: 6" Dia x 2" High. Japanese Ko Imari Sometsuke Porcelain Bowl. It is the one of most wonderfully painted in Seometsuke bowl ever seen. The bowl is made with fine quality porcelain. The center bowl has Sho Chiku Bai design. The surrounding bowl has beautiful and most intricately painted of Karakusa design finely excuted with fine brush work and uniformely colored gosu blue. A Very Fine Set of 8 Blue and White Ko Imari Cups:
Japanese, early 19th Century
This set of 8 ko-Sometsuke cups is a very rare with a perfect condition.
These cups are in painted underglaze blue with a stylized pine tree needle or
gingko leaf or maybe not. It is hard to describe what it is (please see photos).
These cups are little bigger sizes than normal Ko Imari cups as a Soba Choko cups
or Tea cups. Its white glaze is applied over-all body with a warm and soft glazing feel... Click for details
