Stone depiction of a standing Sho-Kannon Bosatsu, the left hand holding a long-stemmed lotus bloom and the right forming the semui-in mudra bestowing upon all beholders the gift of fearlessness. Clearly dated to the opening year of the Hoei Era (1704), mid-Edo Period. Loss and an old repair to the upper portion of the overarching mandorla, including the top of the headpiece.
