Japanese Woodblock Print by Hiroshige 3rd. 1884 Meiji Period
10 1/4 x 7 ins. (26 x 17.8 cms) From the series, "Kokon Tokyo Meisho" (The Famous Places of Tokyo Past and The Present) The design shows a Kabuki theatre displaying the large hand painted posters. This series shows many examples of Westernization such as trams, steam trains etc. The print is in excellent condition with no damage and no repairs.
