Korean Whitewear JAR with 2 different blue drawings of grapes & vines on the shoulders in ovoid form. There are 5 hairline cracks in the neck; as well as two "kiln cracks," about 3" in length between the neck and the shoulder (along the seam) and an additional similiar crack between the footrim and the body. None of these detract from the beauty of the shape, glaze and paintings. There are no cracks in the body of the Jar itself. The off-white (cream) color of the jar is typical of this type... Korea, Choson dynasty, 19th Century Width 8 cm. The body covered with an underglaze cobalt glaze and a transparent overglaze. Raised detailing emphasize scales,fins,mouth and eye. The base is unglazed but wonderfully stained with splotchs of ink. The fish is an emblem of wealth, harmony and connubial bliss. As an art form it was more popular in Korea than China.

This is the lightest weight pottery (based on dimensions) that I have held in my hands in 15 years! Condition: perfect. Circa: early 19th Century. Dimensions are 5.5 inches in diameter.

Rare korean Choson period blue and white dish. ( 18th - 19th cetury ) Very nice condition - if you look very close, you see 1 very short fiering crack and 1 very small chip, which also seems to date to the time of production. Diameter : 20,2 cm.

This is wonderful Korean wine,sake bottle 11.3/4in height,9in diameter,26in all around weist. This bottle has ash blue color body with interesting (feel like waterfall) blue glaze drip and original grown color glaze missing part(feel like stone) great artistc signs. Condition is very good has original pin hole and brown color glaze missing spot and one age hair line (2in)to the bottom otherwise No chip,No repair.
