Korea, Three Kingdoms Period, 4th -6th Century,
This is unusual la
rge jar is supported the large globular body on a slightly flattened
foot rising to a wide straight neck with open work stand, the dark grey pottery with
a natural ash glaze on the lower body. There are small chips on the rim and two original
broken pieces reattached on the foot rim of stand, otherwise fine condition.

The graceful melon-form ewer with looped handle and arched spout has
eight lobes rising from a flat foot with a slightly recessed base. It is fitted with a slender
and curved spout set opposite the loop handle with a small tap for attachment to the

A Fine/Rare Blue and White Large Deep Bowl:
Korea, Choson period, 18th-19th century,
This is a large deep bowl set on a high footed-recessed base decorated in underglaze
blue with two sprays of citrine( Buddha hand), the well decorated with
an auspicious character FU contained within a double-ringed roundel.
It has an old small chip repaired on the rim, otherwise very fine condition.
Measures 9 7/8 x 5 ½ h.

This jar is heavily potted and is of a grayish white glaze.
The wide body gently rising from the unglazed short foot, freely painted in two
sides with a floral motif, possibly grass. During the second half of the 17th century
