This is a rare and fine Choson period, 15th century Korean underglaze iron-brown decorated punchong glazed flask. It was beautifully and spontaneously painted with floral patterns in iron brown under a punchong glaze. The lower half of the vase was broken but nicely repaired. Date: Choson period, 15th century; Height: 22.8cm, Max. Width: 13.5cm; Condition: Lower half of the vase was broken but nicely repaired.

This is a nice Korean Choson dynasty, early 18th century white glazed vase. It has a nicely potted pear shape and is covered in a fine and pure white glaze. During King Sejong's Reign in the early Choson dynasty, white wares were declared the Imperial wares and were reserved for court use. Afterwards, white wares often became the official wares of ancient Korea. This vase was probably produced by the official kilns or by the provincial kilns for municipal use. A Korean stoneware maebyong decorated in underglaze iron-black, circa 1200. It has two large chrysanthemum or peony sprays on the sides and a band of petals around the short neck, all under an olive toned glaze. Measurements are 10 1/4 inches or 26cm high X 6 inches or 15cm diameter. There is a repaired break at the rim, visible in the images and small areas of glaze loss at the footrim. A rare celadon pear-shaped bottle vase, this vase made by two parts, a lower and an upper part then joined together. Decorated with inlaid Chrysanthemum blossoms on both sides below 'ruyi' border to the neck and lotus petals around the foot. Covered overall with typical Korean celadon pale green glazed. Koryo Dynasty, 1100s
Glazed entirely including the foot and base with a pale greenish-grey glaze, and decorated on two sides with bold stylized calligraphic designs. Good condition except for a small chip to the mouth rim. The foot retains evidence of at least eight spurs on which it was fired and possibly a dusting of wood ash from the firing adding character and a bit of visual texture to the upper body.
