A vintage hand-woven Palembang songket textile done in two sections. These textiles are family heirlooms in Indonesia and are considered a source of wealth. A solid, red, cotton background is decorated with gold metallic threads done in a geometric design. This piece dates to circa 1900.

A silk tapestry temple hanging from Thailand woven in silk; weft ikat. Note some damage (see photos). The design of the weave is possibly 'pai bai' or 'mee hoi', which is a bamboo leaf motif.

An ethnographic textile weaving from Indonesia: a tampan cloth from Western Sumatra. Note the abstract figures woven throughout the piece. There is some wear and staining to this textile. Tampan cloths ceased to be made around the turn of the century due to changing economic and social conditions in Indonesia. This piece dates to 1890.
