Voided velvet, rectangular form with red and beige silk pile on a light ground. Design of a central medallion encased by a flowering vine on a rosette ground, the spandrels with spray bearing grapes and flowers surrounded by a border of meandering vine. The sides bordered with a red silk textile. Condition: Two larger sections with water damage, Losses and wear. Some worn areas. Dimension: Approx. 112 x 58 cm.

Egypt, Islamic Period, c. 10th-15th Century AD
A very small chip form the point of the base otherwise intact.

Superb ring with a ram head on its top, and a leaping tiger on each side. Loop at upper side of the back. Bronze, with green, partly encrusted, patina. Iran, Luristan Culture, Ca. 9th century B.C. Dimensions: height: 3 5/16" (8,3 cm), width: 3 1/4" (8,5 cm). Very good condition despite a tiny chip at the ram's right antler. A very fine piece. Ex. old French collection.

The pattern in stripes depicting houses, flowers, plants etcetera in a geometric manner. Condition: Some small holes and stains, border with few losses. Dimension: Approx. 206 cm long x 38 cm wide.
