An eye bead with trails. The bead appears to be black with light color trails which are now very iridescent. The eyes are applied and and are of a light color, possibly yellow with a dark center. Early Islamic, possibly from Syria, circa 7th-8th Century CE. See Spaer, Ancient Glass in the Israel Museum #129 for a similar bead. Length 26mm, dia. 15mm.

The basic fabric is a very thin plain cotton or silk weave embroidered in colored silks and metal threads. The border worked with leaf springs, small red blossoms and some flying insects. The decoration is identical on both surfaces. Condition: Stained, tiny holes near the hem, very few losses to embroidery. Dimension: 92 cm x 92 cm.

The basic fabric is a coarse linen weave with an additional weft. The ends embroidered in polychrome silk yarn and folded gilded metal. The decoration of sprays of flowers mainly worked in open stitch, identical on both surfaces. Condition: Stained, wear, few losses to gilded metal, stitched on patch. Dimension: 124 cm x 42,8 cm.

Earthenware, splashed in streaked brown and ochre glazes. In pitcher shape, with mouth and handle.
Decorated in relief with particularly unusual designs of eagles,
stylized flowers and two independant little vases attached on each side. Conditions: good antique condition, one missing on the wing of the eagles on each ewer and some small chips on footrim, see the detailed photographs, no cracks, no restorations, no hairline. Origin and period: 19th century ottoman work, Dardanelles.
