Unusual Japanese two-section tansu, with gorgeous Keyaki (elm) burl front, and Sugi (cedar) sides, with original lacquer finish. The design is highly unusual with three sets of sliding doors, one with glass panels, various size drawers and a lift-away panel with a charming natural burl handle. Meiji age (1868-1912)

A George III Silver Teapot by Henry Chawner and Hallmarked in London in 1792. A Bright Cut Teapot with Serpentine Shaped Sides and Engraved with Armorials on Both Sides. A Domed Oval Hinged Lid and a Wooden Finial and Scroll Handle. Dimensions; 6" High x 4" wide x 10" handle to spout. Weight 11.8 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Beautiful hand carved Japanese wood panel with stylized openwork carvings of various scrolling chrysanthemums and peonies. Each flowing one to the next layer out longitudinally on a single slab of wood. Hand chisel marks visible on the reverse of the panel. Ready to be wall mounted. Very good original condition. Natural finish consistent with age.

Attractive bronze travellers icon, with mother and Christ. This icon probably dates to the 18th. century, but could be late 17th. cent..

Size: 63 x 52 mm.

Condition: Near VF, this icon has experienced a lot of love and is covered with a fine early brass alloy patina.

Charming Jadeite carving of three bamboo reeds, trees, and little bear eating leaves. Excellent detail with fine carving. Circa 1910 Dimensions: 8.5" Long, X 5.5" Wide

A very nice mauchline ware wooden hinged box decorated with seven Washington, DC scenes. American scenes are more difficult to find than English or Scottish scenes, and to find seven different images of the Washington DC area is most uncommon. The box retains its original blue silk lining. With the exception of Mount Vernon, all the buildings had been completed only 5-15 years before this piece was produced.

Beautiful American sterling silver brilliant cut, heavy weight, fish server by Gorham. In excellent condition, it measures 11.5 long x 2.5 widest. Monogrammed "Urquhart".

Fine Japanese Satsuma bowl; internally depicts women and children in a domestic setting overlooking a stream; geometric borders and floral diapers; below shows gilded floral works and hanging lappets above the base rim; signed Fuzan on the base; good condition

Antique early 18th-century Islamic Indo-Persian Indian Mughal steel shield Dhal. The shield is circular and convex, hand-hammered from a single piece of thick solid steel with visible hammer marks on the inside but a perfectly smooth exterior surface.

The outer surface is extensively decorated with fine koftgari inlaid in silver...

A monumental large blue and white covered box with well balance potted, decorated with three claws nails like knife of open mouth Dragon chasing flaming pearl, surrounded by three clouds scrolls. the bottom with encircled waves. The base is flat but in the middle goes into a round shape to the front side. The color is pale blue or local cobalt blue. The painting is masterpiece work. Found at Indonesia. Mid 14th century or Late Yuan to Early Ming transitional period...

An antique Japanese Kimono Tansu made fo Keyaki (Zelkova) and Hinoki (Cypress) woods. Urushi lacquer accentuates the beautiful wood grain. Unusual rare deep design that was specially custom commissioned to be made by a tansu maker. Three large drawers with a security hinged door featuring a dragon motif that hides two small drawers for valuables as well as a secret hiding box...

This is an extremely fine early 19th century balustroid wine glass made in the 18th century style. It is lead glass, and has a large funnel bowl which sits atop a triple ring collar, below which is a center section of an unusual and uncommon cylinder knop, followed by two angular knops. It has a conical folded foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

The glass is in perfect condition, with no restoration, and displays good tooling marks and striations throughout...

An amazing matching pair of a male and a female glazed pottery attendants from the Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

This type & size is very rare and were made as tomb figures for wealthy and prominent people during the Ming Dynaasty.

The male attendant with greyish-black robe over a cobolt blue and torquoise glazed dress and a round red hat and with black rim. Many nice details. He is standing a tray and a mug or cup in his hands...

A playing card game box of coromandel wood, with mother-of-pearl plaque on the top and keyhole escutcheon. The interior has a silk lined lid, and is divided into 5 sections, three of which contain 5 or 6 old decks of playing cards made by the Goodall Company, one section containing 4 Bezique registers made by Goodall, 4 whist markers made by De La Rue & Co., and a small booklet on how to play Bezique...

Diameter approximately 32.5 cm. There is a soft chip at the rim. There are two hairlines at the base. More pictures are available. In good condition.

Rare Nakamura Donen (1876-1937) Mishima Ware Chawan Bowl with Gold Repair Kintsugi. Nakamura Donen was a famous potter during Meiji-Taisho periods who worked in different styles such as Raku and Mishima. He has a lot of Korean influence in his works as he studied the pottery in Korea. Size Width 11.5cm Height 8.6cm Condition Overall good, the bowl the some repair with gold. Chinese jade carved container in the style of archaic bronzes, with fitted lid, square form with flanged handles on either side, carved all over with archaic motifs, a total of ten pierced carved handles in the form of lions heads each with a freely carved ring in it's mouth, beautiful translucent green jade with pale green and white striations, Republic Period. Size including wooden stand: 9 1/4" high x 5 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" deep.
