A Fine Pair of Old Paris Two Handled Campana (bell) Form Mantle Vases with Hand Painted Cottage Scenes by a Lake standing on a Green Marbleized Base. Dimensions; 9.5" high x 5.75" wide. Circa 1850-1870. Some normal gilt wear but in excellent condition.
An uncommon and striking bowl in a deep Bristol blue color. The top rim is scalloped, the sides are step and panel cut, and the underside of the foot is radial cut. Excellent condition with a 5" bowl diameter and a 4" foot diameter.

A wonderful Victorian ironstone footed fruit compote decorated in an underglaze blue floral pattern. Distinctly Asian in flavor, the pattern depicts prunus blossoms and peonies surrounded by rocky outcroppings, foliage and hovering butterflies. The edges are finished in a diaper border. Either end has a leafy handle, heavily accented with gilding similar in style to that found on Old Paris porcelains. The overall shape and use of gilding suggests an early date. A lovely Japanese cloisonne cosmetic box designed with flowers and gold tone flecks. It is in excellent condition and begs a new home. Measures 3.5" diameter by 2.25" high. Circa 1900
Pair of Victorian Classical sterling silver sauceboats. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1883. Each: Rectilinear body with lip spout and curved corners on same raised foot; high-looping leaf-covered handle with ribbed cast volute scroll terminal between scrolls and incised volute scroll mount. Repousse rinceaux band between molded lines. Stylized egg-and-dart rims. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 7370 (first produced in 1883), and director’s letter M (1873-91)...
Reddish limestone. Animal battle scene with crossing bulls and crescent moon standard, worshippers in between. A larger seal in an attractive red-orange stone. Isin-Larsa period, Old Babylonian, ca. 2002-1594 BC.
Height 26 mm and diameter is 13 cm., so fairly thick.
Condition: Very fine, smooth wear but intact with a nice patina.
Provenance: The Karl Müller collection, Germany 1950-1977. Comes with COA and his imprint.
White face mask with secular eyes hachured areas or red spots on the cheeks. Butterfly and feathers on the tableta. Earrings below the tableta. Costume may be a white and embroidered, ceremonial robe and a kilt worn like a blouse. A black dress with a yellow maiden's shawl. The feet are wearing moccasins.

American Modern sterling silver and glass inkwell on stand, ca 1920. Lobed melon-form glass bowl; sterling silver cover domed with overlapping ovoid ring finial. Stand has well and large lobing. Cover interior numbered 38. Stand and cover marked “Sterling”. Very good condition.

Spectacles were only affordable for the very wealthy in China during the 1800's. The lenses were ground from crystal of various shades. Because of the cost, if a lens or frames were broken the remaining pieces would be refitted into a replacement set...as happened with this pair of antique Chinese eyeglasses. The vestiges of the original fitting remain on the left lens.

An antique Tibetan painted wood image depicting the Female Bodhisattva Green Tara (Sanskrit: Syamatara; Tibetan: Dölma) seated on a lotus throne in the posture of 'royal ease' with the right leg extended; the left hand is held in the mudra of blessing; the right hand extended across the right knee in the gesture of giving protection. Both hands are holding the stem of an utpala flower.

A great example of late Victorian Art Nouveau tableware. This is a fine satin-finish green gradient-style serving or candy dish on its original Art Nouveau silverplated stand. The 5" across dish stands 3" high, it has a nice medium green colour and satin finished panels flanked by gloss-finished ribs...
