A pair of finely made and decorated Imari tokkuri (sake bottles). Bird and flowers in vase decoration rich in red enamel and gilt details over blue underglaze decoration. Height of the bottles are about 7 and 3/8 inches (about 18.73 cm)

A beautiful mahogany shaped knife box made of solid sides and fitted with slotted board to hold knives. The cyma and creased shaped front supports a non-working brass lock escutcheon and opening handle. The corners are molded. The cover is decorated with a star inside, and attached with brass hinges. The base of the box is also molded. Over all, the design and construction are sumptuous.

Fine and rare Longquan classic celadon bottle with an unusual shape- like a truncated meiping. The depth of the glaze achieves the ideal “jade like” quality that is much sought after by celadon collectors. The body of the plates were made in Staffordshire, UK as blanks and sent to the US where they were decorated by Rowland and Marsellus.
They depict themes from the poems of Longfellow. They are both in near mint condition, free from chips and blemishes and they measure 10" in diameter.
Meiji (1868-1912) Japanese Mixed Metal Iron Plate with Garden Scene
Each is 0.59 inch (1.5 cm) tall by 4.7 inches (12 cm) wide. Total weight is 0.6 Lb.
