An Arita blue & white porcelain dish decorated with a pavilion and poetry, an equestrian and servant in the foreground. The dish is moulded with a shallow ‘rinka’ edge. The back is plain and has three spur marks within the foot-rim.

An identical dish is illustrated in the Shibata Collection Vol.4, #303 where it is dated to 1770~1800.

Approximately 17.8 cm diameter. The dish has some light wear from normal use but is otherwise in fine condition...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden decorating studio in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. It is a bit larger than a demitasse so I believe it was made for afternoon tea. The set is hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers. Little sprigs dot the interior of the cup. There is lacy gold trim on the rims and gilded accents on the handle. Condition: Excellent

During the Qing Dynasty, hair combs like this were commonly used. The structure is bone and the tines are of wood. A few tines have gone missing with age and use. The comb is about 5 inches x 2 inches.

A fine Chinese Rose Medallion ladle with a mother and her child seated together. The handle is subtly gilded with the standard famille rose palette. This example dates to c. 1820 and is in excellent condition. These small but wonderful items are hard to find, and such a treat when discovered. Dimension: 5" l

The size of Plate: 9 3/8" Dia x 1 1/2" High. Very nice Japanese Antique Kutani Porcelain Plate. The plate is made from porcelain. It has brown band around the plate with red (Aka) underneath. The gold work on the band. The center has design of poet at the top of tree trunk with brush and paper on his hand. Poet's Kimono with gold work. The Plum tree is nicely painted. The ground and grass have gold works on them. Sky clouds are done with gold work as well...

This porcelain serving dish or plate was produced in Germany by Rosenthal between 1898 and 1906. It was sold white ware to a studio artist for decoration. It has a diameter of 10 1/2 inches. The rim of the dish is reticulated in art nouveau style. There are large, pastel colored roses spilling across the center of the dish. The rim is trimmed with heavy gilding. Condition: Excellent

A Japanese kiseru made of brass with silver colored rings, bowl and mouth piece. It is further decorated with a boy and comical looking tiger in overlay silver and engravings of pine trees. The pipe measures 9 1/2" long which includes the bamboo extension. The pipe is from the Meiji period (1868-1912). The Pipe is in good condition with some small scratches and dents from use. The most wear is near the tobacco bowl. The asking price includes free shipping within the USA.

A goblet, presumed to be made by Riverside Glass Works as early as 1906 as pattern number 593. It has a caramel color, not a common find.

Please be aware that this pattern is known by several names such as Old English Colonial, Blucher, and Colonial, in part due to the change of ownership of the molds, during the first quarter or so of the 20th century, during which three companies owned them. As such we are unable to warrant the maker.

A fantastic English porcelain scenic topographical cabinet plate by Aynsley, with a hand painted view of Kirkstall Abbey, signed by R.J. Keeling, one of their best artists. Circa 1897. This ia a Japanese antique Thick handspun & natural indigo dye katazome long fabric of meiji era . It's a tsunagi-sankaibishi pattern. There are two small holes near the end. There is a light stain. A pair of Gorham sterling salt dishes with spoons dated 1889. This embossed pair of 19th century salt cellars are 2" in diameter and they feature floral embossing and scalloped rims; they are stamped with the lion/anchor/G Gorham mark, STERLING, 2235 (pattern number) with the Gorham 1889 year mark. The pair of 2-1/8" long sterling silver salt spoons also have the Gorham old hallmark with STERLING, and they are in the Colonial pattern by Gorham, which was introduced in 1885...

This is a quaint little spear or dagger from the Bactrian culture dating to roughly 2000 BC. It is 126mm long and weighs 26 grams. It has a very interesting, rounded leaf shape. It is flat and undamaged. It has a wonderful malachite patina. This belongs in your collection.

Bowl in under glaze blue on a rust brown porcelain body. Decorated in double blue lines under a semi transparent white glaze. Condition: Very good condition.Two glaze ships at the rim exists. No further damage or restoration. Measurement: 13.4 cm = 5.3 in

A great small vase with chinese porcelain blossom trees in white on a black ground. The black glaze is a thick layer with "oil on water" effect. A greenish tone showing it's way to make the black enamels with a last layer of green glaze. Measurement: hight 19 cm = 7.5 in (with lid) Condition: Lid possibly not original. Lid with minor frittering. Vase with on ship at the rim. Further no restorations or damage.
