19C Meiji period Japanese Woven Bronze Plaque Tray Gold and Silver Inlay The mixed-metal plaque or tray is designed on the interior with a bronze panel carved and applied with five people, variously finished in gilt and silver. Late Qing Dynasty (1890-1911) Chinese soapstone brush rest carved on the front with 2 scholars in discussion by a hut among trees. Very nice feature - the back shows the natural skin of the soapstone boulder from which the object was carved. Strong simple carving, excellent scholarly simplicity to the piece, very pleasant feel of age, wonderful item for a scholar’s desk. Length 3.14 inches, height 1.83 inches.

This is an incredible Cougar Mountain found in Oregon. It is made from beautiful tranlucent orange agate. It is 8 1/2" long. Dates to 10,000 BP. Perfect condition. Great provenance. I purchased it in 1988. It comes with a Gregory Perino COA. I personally sent it to him so I know the COA is not a fake. None finer.

A Kakiemon style porcelain six lobed dish. Cobalt blue underglaze and red, green, yellow, blue and black outline overglaze enamel decoration of 'three friends of winter' (pine, bamboo and prunus). Assymetry of decoration, as well as palette, typical of Kakiemon type porcelains.
