Edwardian glass sugar caster with sterling silver cover. Made by the Merrill Shops in New York, ca 1910. Bowl has upward tapering sides with cut ferns and stars, and leaf mouth rim. Cover domed and pierced. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 2103. Very good condition.

A Majolica Pitcher by Joseph Holdcroft, Oval Shaped with Lily Pads and Flowers. Dimensions; 8.25" high x 5.5" x 4.75". J HOLDCROFT imprint on bottom. English, Circa 1880. Excellent condition.

Pair of small Shiva lingam carved in dark marble. The first one, smaller, has part of its aureola missing. The other one is taller and more elaborate, with a double aureola and the Naga snake surmounting the lingam, and has small chips. India, early 19th century, maybe earlier. Heights: 6.7 and 9.3 cm.

A stylized grass motif painted in ferrous pigment across each side and on the inside of this mukozuke serving dish marks it as being more likely produced in Karatsu as opposed to having come out of a Mino kiln. Though very similar styles and techniques were utilized during the late 16th or early 17th C. when this would have been produced; the color, distribution of glaze, and patterning suggest Karatsu...

It is yuzen-dye silk Child kimono textile of the last part of Edo era(1800-1868). It is the design which is beautiful with a mandarin duck and the beauty of the cherry tree. It has the change of a slight color. However, there is not the stain remarkably. The sleeve has slight damage. However, it is very good condition generally. size:95cm x 83cm (37.4" x 32.6")

Hand carved gilded wooden Lanna Buddha from Northern Thailand with cinnabar red patina, Good condition, size: H. 8" (20 cm.) with base x W. 3.5" (9 cm.) at base x D. 2.5" (6.5 cm) at base.

Carved two part handle with three carved racing horses, each with amber glass eyes. Cane with brass fittings and mahogany shaft. Handle: 2 1/8" H x 4 3/4" L x 1 1/2" W. Overall length is 36 3/4 inches, mid 19th century. Condition Report: Overall good condition with expected wear and separation on the underside of the handle.

A nice lot of three choice condition bronze rings, two of a Roman type with high shoulders and another of the early Islamic period, c. 7th.-9th. cent. AD.

With animals carved into the bezels of the early rings.

A porcelain Kendi with powderblue glaze and decorations in gold, mounted with a silver lid and spout. China, Qianlong (1736-1795). H. 27 cm. Condition: wear to the gold decoration and wear to the silver (see pictures). The silver spout may have had a small lid, that was connected with a chain to the main lid of the Kendi. Note: Many Kendis were exported to Indonesia, it is very well possible that the silver mounts were added there. Provenance: Amsterdam private collection.

An intact and attractive pottery bowl,9th.-10th. century AD.

The bowl decorated with in black pseudo-caligraphy in crossform on a beige ground.

Size: 21,5 cm. wide and 6,5 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice, with much original glaze, lightly restored, but difficult to spot.

Provenance: Important Danish-French Private collection, (aquired 1970- c. 2007) of Islamic pottery ware from the 9th.-12th. century. Comes with COA.

This is an extremely rare Japanese cloisonne enamel. It appears to be an early Ando piece. I say this because of the form used and the enamel technique used on this vase. The enameling has characteristics similar to some of the unique signed Kawade pieces with their mottled flowing enamels done in various colors. The enamels also vary from translucent to opaque. Antique Japanese Noh theater mask of a woman, possibly Kohime, with black lacquer hair showing three loose strands on each side, bright red lacquer lips, pale face with blackened lips and sharpened eyes. Beautifully hand-carved, with painted inscription on the inside of the mask The eye holes are carved as 16 petal chrysanthemums. Dates from early 20th century.

Black bowl, Kangxi (1662 - 1722) decorated in black and over glaze gold flowers. Double blue rings in under glaze blue and Mark in over glaze blue. Condition: the bowl has a reparation from the 19:th century (see pictures). The over glaze gold has wearings from normal use (unusual that gold still is so visible).
