19th century staghorn ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) carved in a shape of standing Okame wearing a long robe and sporting a compass in the front. Possibly had a face in the opening above the compass, but I am not entirely sure. Nicely made, good patina, compass is functional. Height 0.7 inches.

A large and ornate pierced blade fish server c1850-70. This fine 12-3/8" silver plated serving piece was made by Edward Barnard & Sons; it has a nicely pierced blade and it has the quatrefoil barnard mark with B in the centre and E, E J and W surrounding, with a shield mark and B mark and bird mark. This item is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor plating wear at the top of the handle...

Chinese Silver Lotus Pod oval shape Pendant, with Agate bead, Ca. 1920, 3 1/4" for entire height, 1 5/8" high and 1 1/4" wide, 1 3/8" deep(Lotus Pod), rings like Bell, Pod is closed on the bottom, hollow inside, both side have same impressed design, the round Agate bead is 1 1/2" or 10mm diameter. A nice smaller stamp seal in a fine stone, engraved with a cross-linear grid-like pattern. The fine engraving of the base is a tell-tale for the late manifacture, Levantine, c. 2nd. millenium BC.

Size: 14 mm. The base in fine intact condition the high handle worned through from use.

18th Century Chinese Kangxi period Blue and White Porcelain deep scalloped rim Sauce Dish, Ca. 1661-1722, 4 1/8" diameter, 3/4" high, underglaze blue design of 8 panels of alternating with men fishing and Peony floral branches in the wide outer rim, and old man walking with tree branch tall walking stick on the river embankment in the center. Very tight glaze hairline on the top of the Pagoda design less than 1/2" long.

Lot consists of a nicely engraved spindlewhorl, a cure and intact pottery bird whistle, a stone head and a scarce pottery mould for casting a head.

A very unusual cup with an undulating suhama style rim; a formalization of an undulating shore line of spits and coves decorated with a pair of auspicious Horses, uma. The cup measures 9.5cm in diameter and stands 6.5cm high. The cup is in excellent condition, no cracks, chips or restoration. Dating late 18th century circa 1780. Nice Shan Ducks of a good size, with fine brown patinas. Both on Hexagonal bases one stepped and one decorated on top.

Condition: Choice, very nicely preserved.

Ancient Near East, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 800 BC.

A large elaborate bronze cloak pin, cast via the lost wax (cire perdue) process with poppy flower shaped terminal.

Used to fasten clothes, in this case due to the unusually heavy fabric and decoration, likely leather for presentation use - perhaps for a very thick cape or leather armor. The lower terminal decorated with knobs and 3 spikes.
