Views of hunting, known as shoulie wenwutu were first seen from the Yuan dynasty and succeeding dynasties continued to paint various renditions. Comes in a beautifully carved box. A FINE ARITA KO-SOMETSUKE DISH, 18TH CENTURY.

The shallow dish with a slight foliate edge decorated with a central roundel of shochikubai, pine ; plum and bamboo, set against a ground of scrolling ivy. Within the foot-rim is found a four-character fuki-choshun mark.

Beautiful antique Chinese porcelain pair of roosters with polychrome glaze. Very nice incised detail. Created in a naturalistic style. Each rooster stands on one foot with the other raised close to its body atop a brown glazed tree trunk. Age: Qing Dynasty (18th century - 19th century) Size: 15.5" height x 9.5" length.

This porcelain egg cup was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. It is 2 5/8 inches high and the opening has a diameter of 1 3/4 inches. It is made of the finest hard paste porcelain ever produced. It is expertly hand painted with a lovely spray of vividly colored flowers. There are tiny sprigs and little buds toward the back of the cup. The rim and foot are trimmed with gold. This is a beauty you would be proud to own. Condition: Excellent

This Victorian walking stick boasts an ivory handle with a seated dog carved in relief. The dog has glass eyes and sits obediently. The handle itself is 4-3/8 x 1-1/4 inches and tops a rosewood shaft and 1-1/4-inch bi-metal tip. Overall length is 35-1/2 inches.

Chinese underglaze blue & white vajra sectioned small lidded porcelain box, decorated with scrolling peony tendrils, the base reads 'Yu Chun Tang'. Size; Measurements are 4 1/2"L x 2"H, in great condition.

A pair of Chinese enameled porcelain plates, having butterfly and Buddha's hand citron decoration on a turquoise ground, with six-character Jiaqing reign marks to the undersides. Size; Diameter of each plate is 6 7/8 inches and both items are in great condition with no imperfections.

A lovely Chinese hat stand featuring a pair of birds and painted in the Qianjiang style using soft pastel enamels. Qianjiang enamel paintings are getting harder to find and this one is in excellent original condition, no chips, no hairlines, no cracks. It measures 11 inches high x 4.75" diameter.

A Chinese porcelain vase decorated with flowers and butterfly and other motifs in famille rose enamel. This is a rare example which demonstrates the earliest famille rose decoration on Chinese porcelains. Early 18th century - late Kangxi to Yongzheng period. Conditions: A hairline (1") from top to the shoulder of the vase; a very tiny flake at the bottom near the foot rim. Height: 7-1/2".

A round tray cover made of glazed cotton lavishly block-printed and dyed, produced in Isfahan in the 19th century. An unusual foil, or tinsel, painting depicting two birds hovering over a large flowering plant. The painting is done basically in tones of taupe and green. The frame is period and is most likely original. The back is sealed with paper that appears to have been a student's calligraphy practice.

Condition is very good, with some very minor paint separation at some points on the edges. The grayish areas in the painting are shadows from when the photograph was taken...

A very attractive Chinese stoneware jar with a wide ribbed body. Hand crafted with a dark celadon glaze, the inside which is brown is also glazed, can hold liquids, and can be used as a vase. In excellent original condition, no cracks, no hairlines. Circa 20th Century, it measures 8” high x 8.5” diameter, mouth measures 5" across.

Taoism guardians known as the embodiment of Good Fortune (Fu), Prosperity (Lu), and Longevity (Shou) finely curved and kept in a Zushi, a miniature shrine decorated with gold leaf and handmade silver work. Circa 19th Century. The guardians are often kept as personal daily worship at household and decoration. Signed Shugetsu. The seal reads Hara. It is attributed to one of prominent doll make artists, first Hara Shugetsu. It is in fine condition.

Hara Shugetsu was born in Sakai in Osaka...
