Antique post mortem photograph of a deceased baby dressed in black on black linens. This is a CDV. The photographer's name on the back is: H. K. Gage, Truckee, Cal. What makes this quite intriguing and rare are two things: 1) The baby is being held by its mother. Note the collar at the top and the arms. 2) The baby is dressed in black on black linens. Most often the linens are white, even if the baby may be in black. Unusual, to say the least. I estimate the date of this photo to c1890...

Rare Sterling Silver Key presented to remember the re-opening of the Church Organ in Snow Hill. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1934 with makers mark TF in original box - you will note the clever design to allow the key to fit whichever side down it is placed.
