A Birks sterling silver cranberry or mayonnaise bowl with a cobalt liner 1947. This classic vintage 4-3/4" across and 2-1/2" high was made by Birks, Canada in 1947. It is marked BIRKS STERLING 20/53 and it has the year mark for 1947. The silver bowl weighs 122 grams which doesn't include the liner, and it has never been monogrammed. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Persian round silver compact with the lid enameled with view of a mosque " shikh Lotf-Allah Mosque ", interior of lid with mirror, diameter of 3 3/8 inches. The item bears the silver and maker's mark, incredible enamel work and great foliage design on the rear panel. Great condition condition with no losses to enamel or any damages to silver work.

Exquisite sterling silver box designed and signed circa 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The top of the box is designed to open by lifting the top section. This is a great sterling silver repousse letter opener by the prominent Baltimore silver smiths Kirk and son. The 5 7/8” long sterling letter opener is vermeil (gold plated) and not counting some minor scratches is in very good condition. The letter opener is hallmarked Kirk & Son and Sterling.

A Japanese sterling silver inlaid metal cigarette case from the 1940s. This well-made and decorative 4-1/4 x 3-1/4" smoking accessory has black patination and inlaid copper both outside and inside the front cover. It also has black patination and hand incising and tooling on both sides and surfaces. The view is a copper bridge over a stream with mountains and trees in the background...

A Sterling Silver three Piece Serving Set by Reed & Barton, in the Francis I pattern. The Handles are Sterling and the blades and tines are "MirrorStele". The fork is 9.25", the carving knife 11.5" and the fish knife 10.25". There is a small monogram, "R", on each piece. Part of the mechanism on the fork is missing, but it is operable (see picture). A World War II nurse's cloak or cape with black and red from the 1940s. This authentic military collectible has a 16" collar (hook to hook), it is 40-3/4" long and it has one closure with two button holes. It was made by Lac-Mac in London (Ontario) Canada and it has the original black painted hanging chain as well as SCGH embroidered on the back of the collar (possibly for St. Catharines General Hospital as it was obtained locally).
