Late Meiji to early Showa (1895-1930) period Satsuma covered bowl. Measures 8 3/4" diameter and is 5 1/4" high with the cover on. Decorated in a moriage pattern with young boys (Karako) playing at various pastimes, highly detailed painting interspersed with raised white moriage dots. The interior of the bottom and the lid are both decorated with an elaborate scene of birds flying amongst a profusion of flowers. Excellent condition with no cracks or chips or restorations.

A very early and scarce Arts and Crafts 8" American pottery vase in the Early Velmoss pattern, made by Roseville. This vase features an Arts & Crafts design with leaves; the glaze is a pleasant green with bluish and tan highlights, as well as relief molding. It has the bottom finish typical of this pattern, and it has remnants of the original pencil marks (otherwise this piece is unsigned)...

An Edwardian T. Rathbone DANE 1867L water pitcher from the 1910 era. This beautiful, decorative English ironstone ewer or pitcher stands 9" tall and it has the T.R. & Co. swan mark used by T. Rathbone in the Edwardian era. The decoration is quite Edwardian with flow blue accents, red and yellow highlights and poppy flowers. It also has gold highlights and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs...

A Coalport 5012/A deep blue and white cup and saucer from the 1910-20 era. This English bone china 2-1/4" tall cup and matching 5-3/4" saucer feature an ornate deep blue and white design on the cup and saucer and a blue band and interior medallion in the cup along with hand-applied gold trim. The mark is one used before 1920 and there is an underglaze 14B19 which may be the date of manufacture...

Large in size at 10 1/4" high and roughly 5 1/2" in diameter (3 3/8" diameter across base). The design is Pomegranate, and was created by William Moorcroft in 1910. As an early design by him, it is desirable and hard to find, especially in larger pieces...

These wonderful Royal Crown Derby miniature "tygs" are hard to find. This one is in the popular imari pattern 2451. It's perfect.
