Antique Hand Crafted Persian Silver Hookha top, 19th C.
The origins of the hookah come from the north western provinces of India along the border of Pakistan in Rajasthan and Gujarat nearly a
millennia back. In Persia, before the age of cigar and cigarette, hookha was used for generations and generally they were made from clay.

Fine European, most likely German, oval silver box, depicting a sailing boat on the top and floral design to the side, gilt interior, from late 19th century period, bears 800 silver mark to the base. An 800 silver Art Nouveau floral German napkin ring circa 1900. This high style, high relief table decor item measures 1-1/2" wide and 1-7/8" across the interior. The beautiful design goes around the outside and it has a fancy Gothic B monogram as well as a full set of hallmarks from Germany. This is a fanciful Dutch silver glass-lined mustard pot and spoon having neoclassical piercing depicting figures in a garden setting, c1848. It has a domed cover, ball feet and is marked on the body, lid and handle. It stands 2 1/2 inches high and is in excellent condition.

From the workshop of George Roth of Hanau Germany, ca 1895, this silver casket is beautifully crafted in the French rococo style.
It measures 4 1/2" x 4 5/8" x 3", and is good heavy weight, 12 troy ounces.
The interior has some remnants of gilding remaining, and the locking mechanism is visible (no key).
It is stamped on the bottom with the marks of George Roth, with crowns over an A, a P, and a Fleur de lis.

An antique Rogers Star silver plated julep or punch or cocktail strainer spoon circa 1890. This 5-3/4" spoon has a pierced 2-3/4" across bowl and it was used to strain fruits and spices from juleps, punch or poured cocktails. It is stamped 1847 R.B. A1 for Rogers Brothers and it is in very good condition with no monograms, dents, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some minor bending to the join area of the handle and a bit of minor plating heel wear.
