Gorham Sterling Silver Creamer and Sugar, with the Date Mark for 1906. The Creamer is 2 3/4" high x 4 1/8" handle to spout. The Sugar is 3 1/4" high x 5 1/2" handle to handle. Their is s slight nick (almost invisible) on the back of the Sugar, with the monogram "CRH" on the front.

A lake boat solid bronze ship bell from 1900-20. This 8-1/4" diameter unsigned bell was from a Great Lakes ship or boat (possibly a ferry) and it retains its original eye and rod clapper with a loop for a rope pull. The mottled verdigris background in contrast with copper red patinated areas of resist in leaf patterns complete with veining to the leaves and texture to the sustaining twigs. Sold. Very Desirable Sterling Silver Letter Opener made by the Watson Company of nearby Attleboro Massachusetts with c 1910 hallmarks. Just think, at this time only about 1/3 of college students were women and only approx 5% were physicians! What New England college bound young lady of that era received this as a gift? Weighs 1/2 ounce on a postal scale. 5 1/2" X 7/16" wide. Very nice condition for age.
