Antique hand carved wooden American eagle figure with gilded gesso finish, supported on a modern faux marble plinth. 19th century. Size: 13.75" overall height (10.25" ht. eagle alone) x 13.5" wide x 6" deep. There is minor flaking to the gilded surface and some chips at the tips of both wings.

Ornate plique a jour translucent enamel coffee spoon in unmarked gilt silver. Probably Norwegian. Early 20th century. The bowl decorated in polychrome enamels with a blue enamel border and with a foliate and berry center that mirrors the floral enamel finial. Bowl in excellent condition with no dings or wear to the tip of the bowl. A family armorial with a Baron's coronet is engraved on the reverse of the handle. A Victorian walking stick with an exotic wood shaft fitted with a carved ivory handle modeled in the form of a fist clenching a ball. A fine touch of added quality is the carved snake bracelet with inlaid eyes which wraps around the hand, typical of jewelry worn in the Victorian age. An extra band of ivory is added as the collar and there is an ivory tip. The fineness of the carving is apparent in the detailed depiction of the fingernails. Excellent condition. The coffee pot and hot milk jug are each stamped with the pattern number '1A,' whereas the sugar bowl is stamped '1'. Early Jensen marks, see photos for details. Hand hammered surfaces and carved ebony handles and finial with beaded trim. Excellent original condition. Size of pot: 6 inches ht. x 7 inches across handle x 4.5 inches across spout.
